How Great And Awesome God Is

HE IS SUPREME (Nehemiah 1:1-11) "And I said: “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments, 6please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father’s house and I have sinned." (Nehemiah 1:5-6) "After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraidn of them. Remembero the Lord, who is great and awesome,p and fightq for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”(Nehemiah 4:14) I have learned over the years that God is all powerful, and have wittnessed it in many ways, the weather is one of the ways He shows His power. I have seen a power pole, spit into a million pieces in a thunder and lightning storm. Seen in the news where a tornato, drove a piece of straw through a solisd wood door. He was the one who created everything yes, He created the heavens, the earth, and everything in them, He holds the mountain ranges together, and keeps the oceans within the ocean bed. He is in control and holds it all in His hands. (Psalm 95:3-5): says that the Lord is a great King above all gods, maker of the land and sea. I did not say these things but the word of God does, read these verses for yourself and you will see. Colossians 1:17: "And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. "Hebrews 1:3: "The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word." Jeremiah 32:17: "Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. "Psalm 135:6: "The Lord does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. "Ephesians 1:11: "In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will." God is entirely faithful and He will never change, He will always be just, and true; He never lies, fails, or changes His mind. God is the same yesterday, today and forever, He is unchanging, He cannot change. What He was in the bible times, He is still the same God today. The prophesoes back in the bible times began to come true in the new testament and they are still coming trie today. Read for yourself Hebrews 13:8: Affirms that Jesus Christ remains the same across all time. James 1:17: States that every good gift comes from the Father, in whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Psalm 102:25-27: Contrasts the temporary nature of creation with God's eternal and unchanging existence. Numbers 23:19: Emphasizes that God is not human and does not lie or change His mind Gods love is deep and is merciful to all, He will keep His covenant, and will always love you and will always show you compassion whenever we call on Him in times of trials. His love and mercy has no boundries. God loves wide as He outstretches His arms, wide enough to include every person in the world, no matter their background, race or colour. Gods love is long as He points to the east and the west, the length of God's love stretches continuously from the past, to the present and on and on into the future forever God's love is high, as high as the mountians are tall and beyond, the height of God's love reaches up and beyond, lifting people out of sin, up from the mud and the mire and into a spiritual loving relationship with Him today and forever more. Deep as deep as the deepest ocean floor and lower still. God's love is deep, reach=ing down to the lowest and darkest places in our world, in the hopes some will be saved, even the worst of the worst. Read: Ephesians 2:4-5, God is rich in mercy and offers grace even in times of human failure. Psalm 145:9, the Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies extend over all His creation. Father God, You are GREAT, You are AWESOME, you are the greatest Heavenly Father, you are the only Heavenly Father, and the only God that cares this much for me Lord I commit to follow you today and on until we enter heavens door and into your eternal glory.
