The Heavens Declare The Glory Of God
WALKING IN HIS SPLENDOR (Psalm 104:1-16) "To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun." (Psalm 19:1-4) In Genesis 1:31, so on the 6th day of creaton as God was finishing up He said everything He had made was good. “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Then in the Psalms the Psalmist says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands” (Psalm 19:1). For me, when I stop and look up into the skies at night, we’re reminded of God and His handi-work (8:1-4; Isaiah 40:26).
