We must have a personal relationship with the Lord jesus Chrsit as the head of our lives, other wise its just a front and we are not serious about it. And in the end we may here the words no one wants to hear.. Depart from me I never kew you. In Leviticus 26:40 Confession is translated as “praise” (Genesis 29:35; Psalm 18:49)it can also mean to “give thanks” (Psalm 7:17). "Leviticus 5:5": says,“When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty . . . they must confess in what way they have sinned.” So even this early in the scriptures we see where confession is needed. When we realize we have sinned, it is good and needs to be confessed by the one committing the sin. When the scriptures or the Holy Spirit bring conviction to the soul of the intruder from within.
