Guilt Lifted

Forgiveness Granted Psalm 32:1-11 Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!(Psalm 32:1-2) Psalm 32:4, where the writer describes the deep, exhausting weight of carrying unshared and unconfessed guilt. Have you been burdened with heavey guilt feelings? Where you feel like a heavey weight is in a pack sack and you feel you have to bare it a lone and you feel like a physical pressure is holding down your body, mind and soul, and you energy is spent. Ever been there, I have. The enemy the devil is great at making you feel you have to carry it all, plus He piles on those extra false guilts just to add to the load. As He loads you up, He steals your steals your strength and joy evry day, and it just get to be to much. He tells you lies like, if you talk to someone about these feeling, they will only condemn you and make you feel worse than you do. No body cares anyhow, just keeping silent, because you are totally alone with your pain. These thoughts are the lies of the devil to try and get you to forfet your life.. But God on the other hand wants you to come to the place where you admitt what is happening to you, this is the first step tp recovery. Healing begins to happen when you are willing to share even a little bit of your burden with God and with someone else. When you begin speaking honestly to someone you trusted, like a friend, counselor or a Pastor of your church or a church, if you are not attending. And you begin to pray to God about these things it will start lifting the burden a bit and will give you guidance in moving forward. God wants to lift the darkness that has settled on your soul and want you to recieve grace from Him, God is all about GRACE and LOVE. You will need to trust Him, in all things. My friends, believe me, we all make mistakes, and we can all be forgiven by God, as you find this forgiveness, you will be able to move forward. A step farther in understanding guilt is that there is both real guilt and false percieved guilt. The one is yours to deal with, the other is yours to give to God and to let it go. So one needs wisdom, and needs God, who is all wise to help us figure it out. Because the devil gets us into a state, where we are confusing wrong doing, with things the devil has made us believe we have done. When infact many things we feel guilt for are not ours, but someone elses.. And as long as we carry that guilt, the other person does not have too. Some of these false guilts are caused from negative thoughts, wrong thinking that causes mental health problems and holding on and tramitizing past traumas that have happened to you or to others. These things will always bring on depressiosns that cause"inappropriate guilt," where you begin to blame yourself for every thing, making you feel unworthy of any type of love or help. You come to a place where you are blameworthy for things you did not do, and things you cannot control. This is where at this point where anxiety sets in and you begin over thinking everything, leads to overthinking past actions, and (OCD) sets in and it begins to trigger can trigger guilt over normal everyday living. This kind of thinking make you want take the blame everything that happens that does not turn out well. So then what does the bible teach about this, lets take a look, Tjhe Bible tells us and teaches us that true guilt comes from disobeying God's moral law, ignoring your conscience, and unbelief. So disobedience happens when we disobey one of God's Commandments - James 2:10: "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it" So we are sinners, when we break even just one of the commandments, so that is why the bible says, all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) While you are at Romans 3, read from verse 19-23. it will explain it more. - Romans 3:19-23: The law of God silences every person and shows the whole world is guilty before God because everyone sins. - 1 John 3:4: Sin is defined as the transgression (breaking) of the law, which directly produces guilt. This is true guild, when you have committed a sin, that need to have forgiveness, when one repents. Friends, also, sin, is when we ignoring our conscience that God gave us as a measuring stick, for true guilt, which should lead to repentance. -Romans 2:14-15: God puts the law in human hearts, and people have a conscience that either accuses them, causing guilt, or excuses them. - Timothy 4:2: People can sear their own consciences, but ignoring the inner voice of right and wrong leads to moral decay and deeper inner pain. So my advice is and I have learned, that when guilt comes, one must determine if it is real ofr false guilt, and if it is false, you say, get thee behind me satan, but if it is true guilt, the very best thing you can do is emediatily confess it. First John 1:9 says this, if we confess our sin, He is faithful and just and will forgive us of all unrighteousness. If and when you beleive this, it will not be long afterwards that you will experience the freedom that comes from forgiveness.. Especially from God, becuae He promises to forgive you and to take your sin from you. He will cast it into the deepest sea, and will remove it from you are far as the east is from the west. I can give witthess to this, it happened to me, after years of carrying my own true gult, I finnially understood how to confess it, and when I did, God set me free, He lifted that load of sin and guilt off of my shouldes and He set me free and began doing amazing things in my life. Sometimes, I still carry some of my own guilt, but not very long anymore, because Jesus taps meon the shoulder and asks me to give it to Him. And when I do, He is always ready to forgive and to take my guilt away. Father God, thank you, for your forgiveness of sin. Thank you, that each time, I come to you and confess a sin I have committed, you wipe it away and give me a clean slate. Thank you. It is in Jesu name I pray AMEN.
