GOD SEES BELIEVERS

IN AND THROUGH JESUS CHRIST (Romans 8:1-11) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1-4) When God looks at you and me as believers in Christ what does He see? Well, the bible tells me He sees us in and through Jesus Christ who paid the penilty for our sin. We are washed clean in the blood of Christ. We are no more naked and unclothed in the sin of the world, but we are fully clothed, fully covered in the righteouasness of Christ and have been adopted into the family of God as His children. Friends, thats right, we have been given a new life, a new "position in Christ,"when Christ comes into our lives it really changes the way God looks at us, from every angle, from the past, present and the future, our sins have been washed away and forgiven.. We are new creatures in Chrsit Jesis, ild things washed away behold all things have been made new. (2 Corinthians 5:7) So then, what does clothed in Righteousness, mean to me and should mean to you? First it means we are no longer condemned No Condemnation because Jesus Because Jesus took the condmnation for sin unto Himself the day He went to the cross, and laid down His life in our place. No longer are we seen as guilty fallen sinners, but rather we are seen as blood washed lambs and a part of the Family of Gd, we have been brought into the fold forgiven forever. Second Corinthians 5:21 tells us what happened, it says this, "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. But rake time and read all of the chapter, to understand it better. It is clear that God made Jesus—who had was perfect and had never committed a sin, was willing to become sin, our take our sin on Himself and became guilt for us, and willing to pay the price of death, so we could be set free. Being set free means that it made us right with God and made us clean and rightous before God. Read, (Hebrews 10:14) it says that by the offering SACRIFICE) of one by one man,"Jesus" He made those who are being made holy "perfect for ever" being made right before God in His Holy Sight. In so doing God adopted us into His family and we became Sons and Daughters of the King of the World, Princes and Princesses, you might say. If you look at (Ephesians 1:6) it says that we as believers in Christ are a blessed people, "in the Beloved" (Jesus). Where God now sees us as a chosen, holy, and deeply loved priesthood.(1 Peter 2:9-10) Also the bible tells us that we have become chldren of God, (Galatians 3:23-29) notes that out faith in Christ makes us children of GodWhere He now sees us as a son or daughter, not a stranger in a strange lost land. This relationship secures our future, read (Romans 8:17)we become heirs of God along with Christ His only Spiritual Son, where God sees you and me as one who will inherit eternal spiritual, life and riches (treasures) In heaven ,that is why the bble tells us to lay up treasures in heaven where moth and rust does not corrupt. (Matthew 6:19-21) Heavenly Father, I want to thank you for the promise in (Romans 6:11) that tells me as a believer I am dead to sin, it no longer has power over me. sin, but now I am alive unto God and have the power to say no to sin and resisit the temptation the enem the devil throws my way. Because of the indwellingof the Holy Sporot in my life, I no longer have to stand alone in my own strength But I can call upon God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to walk with me, and we will make a stand together. Me and the THREE IN ONE God, is a powerful force. AMEN.
