Living In The Love Of God

Remain In My Love (John 15:1-26) “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. (John 15:9-13) If we want to love like Jesus loved we need to first of all, believe in Him and what He has done for us on the cross And be born again, without being born again, there is no remission of sins. Jesus paid for our sins on the cross by shedding His blood and dying to pay the wages for our sins. Jesus says in John 3:3 that a person must be "born again" to see the kingdom of God, which happens when a person accepts this sacrifice asks for forgiveness and recieves the new life through ChristNow with the love of Jesus in you, you can begin to love as Jesus loved. And to live as Jesus lived in the love of God, by keeping His commandments,by praying daily and obeying His commands, by loving others selflessly, you can do this because you have accepted God's love as a free gift, when you reached out and took it, and then staying in that love you are walking in the light and your heart chooses to act in His truth. So the key to loving as God loves is to continue abiding in it and walking with Jesus doing as He has taught us to in the scriptures. This allows us to stay securely within the warmth and safety of His love. Then we will talk to God openly as we talk to a friend, telling Him all of our cares and woos, we will learn to listen and to know His voice and it will guide us so that we will remain strong and feel alive in love. We will find it easier to show loving kindness,to forgive even before we are asked too, and to offer a helping hand when we see a need. All of these things are the fruit people will see, when we are genuinelly born again. When trials come, we will learn to embrace as God giving us opportunity to grow stronger and closer to Him, instead of doubting and running away. Studying the word of God becomes a desire as it reminds us and helps us know Him better, we begin understanding the very character of God understanding that He is a keeper of promises and the great sacrifice He made in bring salvation to us. The benifits of living in the love of God is finding rest and security in His unconditional acceptance, by letting His affection shape our daily lives in every compassity. Friends think of it often, that remaining in Gods love is a daily walk of trust, obedience, and spiritual renewal, dailey being filled with the Spirit of God. In this we will accept the fact every day that God loves us fully/completely, even when we fall flat on our faces when faced with a struggle or trial. I have learned I just neet to talk with God, telling Him I'm sorry I messed up, coming to Him with a heart that is soft and shapable in His hands. When we do this, our love afor God and pour relationship with Him will reflect in our day to day lives and other will wonder what it is we have been drinking. WE have been asked, How do you laugh, and have a good time without drinking alcohal? our response should be, because we are drinking from the fountain of life, we have recieved a cup of the Holy Spirit and we are drunk in Him, and it helps us have joy without a hangover. Living in Love, Somehow after being born again, I think we need to follow the commands of God, to love the Lord your God with all of your heart soul and mind and to love your neighbour as you love yourself. Then to have a long life you need to follow the first commandment with promise, “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12). As we follow this directive we will love and respect our heavenly Father (vv. 3-8) and grow in our faith tpo the point we v=cannot help but love others as He loves us. If we follow these commands all of the rest will just fall into place. Like don’t murder, don’t commit adultery, don’t steal, don’t lie, don’t covet and so on (vv. 12-17). So living in the love of God does not come easy, its hard as humans to love as God loves and to live accordingly. But the bible tells us that all things are possible with God. Why, because HE is living within us, if we have been born again. So my challenge for you today, is for you to, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Then go and live in love because the love of God dwells in you, and you can love because you are in Him and He is in you Thhati s what Jesus says. Lord Jesus, Help me daily to walk in your love Thank you AMEN
