ALL MY SINS ARE GONE

WASHED AWAY, In The Shed Blood On The Cross (2 Corinthians 5:12-21) "And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." (2 Corinthians 5:15-19) (2 Corinthians 5:17) - Tells us that, we are made new in Christ, saying anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life is gone, and a new life has begun. This tells me, my sins have been washed away and they are gone, gone forrvrt more never to return. When Christ came into my life I was given a fresh start through faith. It took a while, but as I made new committments to Christ, the old desires of sin, slowly went away and a stronger and new life came into play as my desires became those who wanted to serve and please God. I started to see that the old life had gone: God took away past sins, the guiltI once carried on my shoulders that waighed me down, I was able to leave them behind at the foot of the cross. This is the change that happens, when we come to God and ask for His forgiveness, He brings a peace into our lives that we had never know before and we are able to get a new start with a clean slate. So the lies we once told, we begin to see that they are cruel and not benifital to anyone. We start to see the truth behind the words of poet Daniel Ladinsky wrote in a poem that relationships built on trust is so much better than those that have been destroyed by lies and falsehoods. By the influence of his mentors he describes the truth as a “wonderful spices mixed into the days.” Buthe said lies are like earthquakes in the mind and poison to the soul: “Havoc is created in the mind that can no longer trust someone once loved . . . . a plague is spread by one who cannot tell the truth.” If you have been guilty of this, it is only the cleansing by God of ones soul and mind will you ever be able to reconcil trust once broken. We do not realize the harm that is done by falsehoods being sspread about someone and the painful hurts that they cause. We need to read, James three and relize how much pain can be applied by the use of the tongue our speech seriously resonates with how our words impact the one who hears us. And once they have passed by our lips, there is no bringing them back. Paul explains to new believers that there should be a big difference between the life before Christ and our life after Christ comes in to our lives. All of a sudden our words have a different bite and they sting us, and we realize how horble they have become. Listen to these words from Colossians, “Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self” (Colossians 3:9-10). The enemy is a skilled foe, in bringing our sins that have been forgiven back to haunt us. My biggest problem we false guilt, that the devil continually accused me of my passed sins that Jesus had already forgiven. He gave me these verses and from that day on, I had some amunition against the devils onslaught of accusations. Psalm 103:12: Told me, God had removed my past bad deeds (sins) as far as east is from west. That the East and west never meet, so if you go East and never turn around, you will never go West, because the two never meet. Telling me those sins would never return to bother me again. Micah 7:19: "He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea". A promise that God will have compassion on us and He will throw all sins into the deep sea. Isaiah 44:22: Says sins are wiped away like a thick cloud. So because the East and West never touch or meet. Your past mistakes are fully gone and separated from you forever more. But we need to understand, we are still human, and the enemy will try trip us up and make us commit new sins or a version of the old, now those we are compleled to ask for forgivenes from God. (1 John 1:9) tells us, if we confess son He will be faithful and just and will forgive those sins and will help us grow into righteousness. And every time we do this, He casts them into the deepest sea and they are lost forever. We do not need to carry false guilt around with us any more. When the enemy brings them up and throws them in our faces, we can simply say, those sins are under the blood of Jesus, they are all washed away, so you cannot hinder my walk with Jesus any longer with these false accusations, I am free in Christ. Yes, God chooses not to bring up or remember those past wrongs anymore. The chains have been broken and we are free to live a life in Christ and in His goodness and love. Dear Heavenly Father, please help me walk in victory, because of the sacrifice Jesus made, to pay the penilty for my sin and wask them all away, taking me our of the darkness of sin, into your marvilous light of a new life in Christ. It is in your name I pray. Amen
