His Radiant Glory Shone Forth

Shine Jesus Shine Exodus 34:29-35 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his faces to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. But their minds were made dull,t for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenantu is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord,w the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.z And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplatea a the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his imagec with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:12–18 I wonder if, after I have spent time with God, if I like Moses shine with the glory of the Lord. Like it says in Exodus 34, Moses’ face shone after his encounter with God. He showed forth the glory of God. That shining radiant face was to show the Isrealited that God was with them. And it showed them that God, their God could be trusted and followed. His revelation could be trusted. It says that Aaron and the Israelites were frightened by Moses’ appearance (v. 30), perhaps thinking he’d become a god himself. How about you, has God cnanged you in such away, that the things you do and the way you act at times frieghtens people when you are bold in going forth and delivering God’s message to those who God brings across your path.(vv. 34-35), I don't know, but it says Moses put a vail over his face, he may have been trying to prevent the people from worshiping him instead of God. Our goal in shining for Jesus is not so thers will worship or praise us or what we do, but rather that they will draw near to God and worship Him. In the scripture above, 2 Corinthians 3:12-18,Paul says that when Jesus enters ones life, we can encounter the glory of God just as Moses did, His forgiveness, His grace and His love, should put a smile on our faces so big that it causes people to look asat us and wonder whats going on. It is true, that those who truely have a relationship with Christ, carries in them the glory of God and they are being “transformed into his image each day as they seek to draw close to Him in all that they do. Yes, His increasing glory” will show, it says by their fruit you will know them. (Matthew 7:16), Yes, we should be reflecting Him more and more. As we spend time in His presence, our faces will “shine” with His love. Father God, thank you for coming into my life, and changing me. I want to draw near to you, so that you will shine through me, putting a radiant glow about my face that attracts people to you. Lord, I give you all the glory, today, as I walk through my life in your glory. Its not about me, its all about you and your power in the lives of human beings. Lord walk before me today. I thank you, in Jesus name AMEN
