For Me To Live Is Christ

To Die Is Gain John 10:1-10Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.(John 10:7-10) Here in John 10, Jesus exposed Satan plans, He does it through those who should’ve been shepherding believers well. But in reality they were those who were falese prophets. The devil had come through them, “to steal and kill and destroy,” while Christ reason for coming was so we “may have life . . . to the full” (v. 10). In Ephesians 4, Paul says that church leaders were given to “to equip his people” (v. 12) and build them up through sound teaching so that they “will no longer be . . . blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming” (v. 14). So still todasy that is the reason for leaders in the church. And still today, believers must be aware of false teachers in our churches. We as believers must be seekers of truth, we are not exempt from the schemes of those who don’t have our best interest in mind. The Spirit will give us discernment to recognize the true voice of the Good Shepherd. People spend lifetimes looking for truth in books while avoiding the book that has the truth in it. But even then they try and make things true by doing biblical rituals and making sure they try and follow the ten commandments, but that will not bring them the truth. The Bible says to gain spiritual wisdom one must ask. - “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5) - "Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7) - For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." (Proverbs 2:6) - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”(Proverbs 9:10) - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”(Proverbs 3:5-6) When you find the truth, it will set you free. The truth is in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross, any other truth is false truth. My foundational belief is built on the fact that Jesus Christ and His Crucifixion, is the only way to salvation and to heaven. Read (John 14:6), where Jesus states, "I am the way and the truth and the life." Through this relationship with Jesus Christ comes the spiritual gifts that should become evident in ones life. If they do not, you have not received salvation through Jesus Christ.. For it says that by your fruits they will know you. (Matthew 7:16) one of those fruits is kindness, Read (Galatians 5:22,23) if you want to know all of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, which needs to be evident in a believers life. It is a work in progress. I would not say, salvation reduces suffering, nor does it say we will not have trials and tribulations, but it does say, when we face tribulation, when we suffer, when we grieve, Jesus will walk through it with us. (Psalm 23:4, Matthew 28:20,Deuteronomy 31:6) God is a loving God who allows pain and grieve to mold us into the people He designed us to be. When we direct our attention to God in suffering it can be a redemptive tool, with purposeful results that gives the sufferer opportunity for spiritual growth. God promises His presence with us during trials (deep waters/fire), ensuring you will not be consumed.(1 Corinthians 3) We as believers need to love other unconditionally, without judgement, because that is Gods job. My understanding of the scripture (the truth) is that compassion or love is not just another rule, but it is an action that should be a part of my every day life. It is the Love, that God has placed in our hearts flowing forth to all we meet in our day to day Without God, the love of (1 Corinthians 13) is impossible. I want to say here, that there are many quote on quote Christians who know the scriptures, perform the acts of a Christian who have not ever received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. These people who pretend to be Christian, will not make it into heaven. AS in Matthew when Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats. (Matthew 25:31-46) “He will say depart from me I never knew you.” In first cCorinthians 3, says our works will be tested, and I believe these works that should follow Salvation (love unlimited) Because we are judged by our works, that are the results of a true salvation. Yes, we will be judged by how gently you treat people. How we speak to the hurting. How we respond when angry, “be angry and sin not” (Ephesians 4:26) We should be peace loving people. seeking to love at peace with every one.(Romans 12:8) Love covers a multitude of sin.. (1 Peter 4:8) I believe actions often speak louder than words and we all fail at it so often. But God is there to help us and gives us strength to do so This is not a religion, it is a life lived according to the principles of the bible. Only truly possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, any other attempt to do so will fail. This is the only and deepest truth that enters the heart of man and makes him whole. Because in the end, what really matters is that people remember God and the way you treated them because of what He has done in your life. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
