Even Though The End Is Near

Have No Fear- THE LAMB IS NEAR (Revelation 1:1-18) When I saw him, I fell at his feetd as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on mee and said: “Do not be afraid.f I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead,h and now look, I am alive for ever and ever!i And I hold the keys of death and Hades. Revelation 1:1-18) John is taken into a vision of Jesus (Revelation 1:12-18) He see Jesus as the divine authority,he sees Him in His holiness, as the all powerful God. and power. He has white hair (purity), blazing eyes (He sees all things), and a voice like “rushing waters” (When He speaks things happen) (v. 15) Yes our Lord is pure,He has all wisdo and He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord. John sees the seven golden lamp stands. In Chapters 2-3) THe Lamb of God is with the churches bringing light unto them, He is present with His people. This affirms to me, that Jesus is near at all times, He is there to both protect us and He is there as the great judge of all times. This portion of scripture says He has a “sharp, double-edged sword” coming out of His mouth (1:16) telling us that the word of God is powerful as we read it and hear it, it will convict us and it will save us. Jesus says He is the living one, death could not hold Him. (Acts 2:24) for here He say, I am “the Living One” (v. 18) who triumphed over death. Because of this victory over death, I, nor you, need to be afraid of what is to come in the endtimes because Christ is alive and HE holds the ultimate authority over life and death, and over all of eternity, He will judge the living and the dead.(2 Timothy 4:1, 1 Peter 4:5) Here John writes “The revelation from Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:1). This revelation shows Jesus as the Lamb of God, a term John uses in the book at least 28 times to describe Him as the Lamb of God. As well, it says Christ is the one who's “eyes were like blazing fire. This tells me, personally, there is noting we can hide from Him now and deffinitly then. He sees and knows all. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters” (vv. 14-15). I believe when we meet Jesus facr ot face, we will do as John did, the bible says, and note this, He fell at his feet as though dead” (v. 17). I see this personally that He fell bowing or even prostrate, flat on his stomach before the LAMB. I can amagine Jeesus bending over laying a hand on John's shoulder and speaking very softly to Him. Saying, “Do not be afraid. . . . I am alive, I'll be here for ever and ever!” (v.v 17-18). There are 28 verses in Revelation where Jesus is depicted as the Lamb of God, telling us Jesus was triumphantly victorious over death and the grave is our slain redeemer who came back to life to carry us all home to heaven upon His return. yet slain redeemer. The Bible says, He is both, the LION and the LAMB, a Lamb—worthy to open the scroll of history executing judgment on the world, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords reigning from the throne while He ushers the redeemed into His glory, redeemed by his sacrificial death on the cross, laying down His life for the salvation of all, those who believed and confessed their sins. Revelation says, He was- The Slain but Standing Lamb Revelation 5:6, Only the Lamb is worthy to break the seals of the scroll, indicating his authority to enact God’s judgment and reveal his purpose. We are redemped through the blood of the Lamb. Which was referenced back in the old testement in the passover when the blood was put on the door posts redeeming the oldest child from death. He is - The Shepherd-Lamb, despite being the sacrifice, the Lamb is also the Shepherd leading his people to "springs of living water". He is also the Warrior, leading His faithful to complete victory over evil, it may seem like we are failing often right now, but God is not finished with us yet. We His followers will be overcomers, through the word of our testimony. Here are the 28 references where Jesus is identified as the Lamb of God Revelation 5:6, 5:8, 5:12, 5:13 (The Lamb takes the scroll, is worshipped) Revelation 6:1, 6:16 (The Lamb opens seals, brings wrath) Revelation 7:9, 7:10, 7:14, 7:17 (The Lamb shepherds the multitude, blood washes robes) Revelation 12:11 (Victory via the blood of the Lamb) Revelation 13:8 (The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world) Revelation 14:1, 14:4 (x2), 14:10 (The Lamb on Zion, followed by the 144,000) Revelation 15:3 (The song of the Lamb)Revelation 17:14 (x2) (The Lamb overcomes the kings) Revelation 19:7, 19:9 (The marriage supper of the Lamb) Revelation 21:9, 21:14, 21:22, 21:23, 21:27 (The Lamb as light, temple, and husband) Revelation 22:1, 22:3 (The throne of God and the Lamb) So my dear Christian friends- We rather than fearing death and the things that are to come in the end time, we must believe that in whatever tradgities may happen,we can embrace the word of God in the Book of Revelation us because it shows the glorified, resurrected, victorious Christ. He’s the one coming to take us HIME to HEAVEN to be with HIM forever and we will forever bring worship, honour and glory to His name. If you are born again and you are seeking with all of your heart to follow Him and to do His will, because of who He is and what He has done for you on the cross, "WE WILL BE ALRIGHT" We will either die and go to be with Him, or Jesus says, to watch and wait until He comes back, for those who are alive and remain. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17) Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Your Son Jesus to me, as the Lamb that was Slain to save the world. AMEN
