Dedicaton To God

Be A Living Sacrifice (Romans 12:1-21) Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism. (Colossians 3:23-25) Being dedicated to God, means being a living sacrifice, giving your all in following and doing His commands with the strength and power of the Holy spirit. All of your tasks should be done as unto God and doing them "as unto the Lord" by making all of your daily responsibilities as unto Him, no matter what, whether your at work, at home, or in your community, you do everything you do as an act of worship. This my friends, should begin to come naturally as you make doing it an intentional mindset, they become your goal, and that goal is to honor God rather than seeking only human approval. Our scripture today in (Colossians 3:23) is the backbone for this concept,"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Thia idea has made my daily tasks so much easier to do, and responsible for seeing them do and done well. My mindset over the years has been to put my full effort and passion into the tasks I do or have been given to do. Whether I am tackling a major project for my bosses or just doing chores around the yard With Gods help I try and do my very best to bring honor to God. I seek to serve my masters and my God with integrity Along with this sacrificial living and integrity, comes a higher moral standard as well. You try and live at peace with everyone and treat all people with kindness, honesty, and love. These kinds of actions put feet to your faith in a practical way. So my friends, when your teaks become challenging or tedious, or what you have done goes unnoticed by the boss, having this mindset will provide the endurance to keep going no matter what. You will have an inner peace of mind knowing that any work you have done for the Lord will never ever go unnoticed. God sees your effort and will ultimately reward your dedication in some way. Fr me, thibking this way gives me fulfillment and it is not just a job for a paycheck, but a meaningful offering of servanthood. So as I throw myself into the tasks ahead of me, I gained much from the experience I have in doingthem, I have learned how to lead, how to endure and how to bring the task to comoletion as a job well done.. In hindsight, I realize this mindset and idea in an effort and a positive attitude that pleases God, very much like Joseph showed in Scriptures in (Genisis 39) Where, dispite being sold off as a slave and imprisoned later on, he fulfilled all his assigned responsibilities with the greatest dedication. Instead of resenting his situation, he took his role seriously, so much so that “Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care” (Genesis 39:6). Joseph also ended up in charge of the prison—and, finally, all of Egypt, because of the integity he showed in all of the duties given to him. And then many, many years later, the apostle Paul also told believers in Jesus that inColossians: “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Colossians 3:17). often the situations we find ourselves in far from ideal, God will help us to be faithful in the tasks assigned to us, for we’re working for Him for He see our true heart.I still like the verse that tells me that with God all things are possible as we do them for Him and unto Him being a living sacrifice being dedicated to Him in all that we do. Father God, help me stop today, when facing an undesirable situation and look to you for guidance on doing and finishing it well. Please help me be faithful in what I do, in whatever situation You’ve allowed me to be in, for ultimately, I’m serving You. All that I do should be as unto you in worship of your love and your goodness.. It is in your name I pray AMEN
