Created In God's Image Male And Female HE Created Them Geneses 1:26-30 So God created mankind in his own image in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Geneses 1:26-3 Adam and Eve were created in God’s image (Geneses 1:27-28) but when they sinned they chose a different road. (3:6, 16-19). From that day on, we all inherited that distortion that came after they sinned. But because of His (GODS) great love for us, HE provided a way, for us to make the right choice a choice to believe in that love, to chose to follow Jesus for forgiveness and Salvation our salvation to be sanctified, and reconciled to Him. Through that process we’re being changed on a day to day bases as we seek to follow Him. In so doing we regain that image, the likeness of Christ. I like (Romans 8:28-29), which says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” As believers in Jesus, we know that “he who began a good work in us will continue to work on us until Christ Jesus returns (Philippians 1:6). As we watch and wait for that day of our completion and our transformation, I am sure of my dignity and worth because I am been created in God’s image and am regaining that perfect image every day that I walk in unison with Him. Animals were simply created, but humans, you and I were created in the image of god, Animals have body and spirit (breath) But we being made in the image of God, tells me I was created to reflect God's character, God has given me a mind that can make dignified and rational decissions. We can make moral and right choices, and we can have a relationship with our creator. We have a body, we have a spirit,"the breath of God in us" but listen, we also have a soul, "a conection to God that is special, different from all other created (THINGS) We were created (made)to act as God's representatives, to look after the rest of God's creation. Humans were intelligence, self-awareness, and the ability to reason, allowing them to understand God. We were given a conscience, which gave us the capacity for holiness, love, justice, and the ability to form a spiritual relationship with God. We were created for community, love in marriage and in frienbdships,for at the very beginning God said, In the image of God He created them male and female, telling them to be fruitful and multiply. We should be able to figure out from this that,it takes a male and a female to multiply The ywere created Adam and Eve, not "Adam and Steve". But that is where our world has gone in these day, the distortion of sin, has distorted the dignity,intelligence,self-awareness of who we are in the way we were created, and in the ability to understand and to reason out in our mind that we were created as God intended. We are not a mistake, or we are not female if God has created us male.God said, God created them malke and Female and that they will leave their Fsther and mother and be joined together as one flesh. (Geneses 2:24) We who are the clay cannot say to the potter why have you made me like this? (Isaiah 45:9) We as humans were created to multiply and replenish the earth, called to care for the earth and its creatures, exercising dominion on God's behalf, acting as stewards rather than being those who distriy earth and flesh. So because we bear the image of God, have value and worth from birth to the grave, regardless of our God given talents or where we fit into the corporite ladder As long as we seek to reflect God's Character, by loving others, and wanting justice for all, the way we act and the way we look after our earth and belongings all reflect God in our daily lives. As we do this, after being born again, our restoration through Christ begins. Yes our image was marred by sin, but God's love will forgive that sin and wipe it all away and will begin a good work in us and will continue until it is finished. We will be restored through. Friends, we are to be like mirrors,reflecting the image and the glory and the character of God to the world around us. We have that ability, that intelegance, if only we will follow the ways of God. Pray with me: Father God, help me to be like you.. know I am created in your imae, and that sin has distirted that image. But through my relationship with you, I can and will be restored. Thank you..
