He Is All I Need

 He Will Supply All Of Our Needs

"As we walk in obedience to Him"

Genesis 1:1-13

Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day. (Genesis 1:11-13)

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Philippians 4: 19-20)

Here in Genesis, God spoke to a formless, dark and empty world and created. He didn't just create for the sake of creating. Her has a plan a purpose and He was going to have fun doing it. He created lot of different kinds of things. He separated the water and the ground to make the ground dry, because He knew that the things He was going to create could not suvivie in water all the time. 

Now that He had dry land to work with He could start preparing it for human life. He created vegetation, that comprised of many plants, and among them were seed0- bearing plants and trees. These plants would produce food that humans or people in general could eat. Here again He did not create just one type of food, but many kinds so we had a variety of food we could eat from many kinds of plants and many kinds with in each kind. 

Vegetables, Fruit, vines, and so on and later meat was added. You see, God is not just a creator, but He was a creative Creator, I can only imagine the fun He had creating  the veggies, making them all different funny shapes, the potatoes, carrot, bean, corn, beets and so on. All so very different, easy to tell apart. As well as He made the animals, He made them all pretty different. You see if all He was concerned about was feeding us, he could have done that without creating anything at all. He is all powerful and can do any thing. 

God created an abundance of things, so we would not become easily bored. I guess He knew His creation pretty well. Not only was He generous with the food He prepared for us, He was also generous with His love and grace. Right after He created man and women, He stepped back and took a look and declared us very good. (Genesis 1:31)

I love how great God is, He was generous with all of His gifts to man, His gift of grace, faith, love, peace, salvation, and many many more. He applied these gifts to us through sending Jesus to die on the cross to bring us the gift of salvation, eternal life, and the forgiveness of sin. (1 Timothy 1:14)

Dear God creator of the universe and Jesus my Lord, Thank you for being a creative creator, you have created a world that meets all of my needs, in every area of life, food, water, nature, were ever I go and whatever I do, I can be fulfilled and satisfied in you. You Lord meet all of my needs and for this I am ever so thankful. Thank you Lord for your goodness and love of which I do not desire but have because of your love.  AMEN
