Bow Down Before The Lord

(Psalm 95:12-11)

 And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said, O Lord God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. Lord, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, Lord, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. (2 Kings 19:15-16)

"Bow down before the Lord your God"  a call to worship the creator God in all of His wonder and grace looking unto Him seeing His authority as our God. As I bow down, as you bow before Him, we are signifying our submission, our reverence and we are seeing Him as the supreme God and Father of the universe. Yes, bowing down is a common act of homage and worship, indicating that all people will ultimately

 Acknowledge God's authority. (Romans 14:11)Psalm 86:9 states that "All the nations You have made will come and bow before You" Notice it says "all nations" will recognize and worship of God. Romans 14:11 goes along with Philippians 2:10, where it says "every knee will bow to Jesus, affirming His Kingship.

 As we bow before the Lord, we commune with Him as friend with friend even though He is our God and King, this is something that is so neat about our relations ship with our three in one God, it does not matter which one we are addressing, we speak to them with reverence and yet as a friend.  I/we have the privilege to bring before them anything and everything that is in our hearts whether happy or sad. 

We need to humbly bow before them and pray and ask for wisdom for moving forward, knowing that whatever lays ahead of us, we will be in the Fathers hands. Friends I want you to know that whatever you face today, you can take to God, and present it before Him.   He knows and understands all of your hurts and your feeling related to the subject. 

Just be assured He hears you (Philippians 4:6) and its with you as you present your requests to Him. In Himn you can take your rest as you wait and seek His wisdom as to how to move forward with love, wisdom and a hope for what He has for you next, whether its going home to heaven to be with Him or if its continuing your journey here on this earth, moving forward His Kingdom. 

Lord Jesus, My God, I love you, and am so pleased that I can lay before you all of my concerns that are on my heart of hearts today. Lord, I choose this day to rest in your power, your wisdom and in you presence. I know you are with me where ever I am at. I know you have my best in mind as you fulfill the plans you have for me. It is in your name I Pray AMEN
